3 - The Hand of God (Ruth 2:1-7)

Pastor Aaron Woodruff
Have you ever wondered why the Bible does not always simply say that God or the Lord did this or that, but instead uses phrases like “the hand of God” or “the hand of the Lord”? The phrase “the hand of God” conveys a more personal involvement than merely stating, “God did this.” A hand reaches, touches, and connects. It represents power, strength, and control, yet it can also soothe and be gentle. Listen as we see the hand of God at work in the life of Ruth, and consider how the hand of God continues to work in our lives as well.
